The debenture and interest is over and above this figure, which means that the arena and community centre will cost the ratepayers in Zurich about $8300 this year, or about 10 mills on their taxes. A contract with 1-Iay Township for fire protection was renewed for another one-year period, at the same price as last year, $1, 000. Council approved the purchase of a suitable plaque to be present- ed to the city of Zurich, Switzer- land, when a charter group visit that city in October, Approval was given to the Bean Festival committee to close Highway 84 during the day of the Bean Festival, August 23. The festival committee, however will be required to provide two flagmen to direct traffic all the while the street is closed. Designed For ..
