The spring board meeting of South Huron District Women's Institute was held in Hensall Tuesday, April 4, with the presi- dent, Mrs. Fred Beer, in the chair. .Mrs. Wilbert Dili.ing, secretary -treasurer, read the minutes and gave the treas- urer's report. Area Councils Discuss Fire Rates Ilensall council met recently with representatives of the sur- rounding municipalities of Stan- ley, Tuckersmith, Hibbert, Us - borne an.cl Hay to set new fire protection rates which will be in effect immediately. Ilensall volunteer fire bri- gade will receive $80 for the first hour of fighting outside the village and $50 for each additional hour.
