Music Festival
On Tuesday morning, April
26, the 20th annual Mitchell
Music Festival opened in Main
Street United Church, Mitchell,
with Mrs. Louise Grasset as
adjudicator.
The following marks were
awarded to the piano pupils •of
Miss Greta Laramie, Hensall;
grade two, Landler, Gail Trav-
ers, 76; grade four, Sonatina,
Sandra Graham, 78; grade six,
Toccatina, Tommy Travers first
with 84 marks, a certificate and
1966 silver dollar; Joyce Fergu-
son 80, Linda Ferguson 75;
grade seven, Minuet, Katherine
McEwen, 75.
Piano duet, Dutch Dance,
third place, Carmen Currie and
Sherry Travers, 82; Sandra and
Janet Graham, 79.
Tommy Travers played at the
winners' concert Friday night
and was presented with the
Bank of Commerce trophy for

urday last from the residents
when they called selling pack-
ages of cookies, for which they
are most appreciative.
Cindy Bisback, five, little
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grant
Bisback, was admitted to the
Children's War Memorial Hos-
pital, London, on Monday of
this week, where she will un-
dergo surgery.
Rudy Petzke is a patient in
Stratford General Hospital
where he underwent surgery.

Hospital.
Robert Kestle, 12, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Melvin Arnold Kestle,
RR. 5, Stratford, who died Sat-
urday of injuries he suffered
when his bicycle collided with
a car, was a nephew of Mrs.
Jack Cooper, of Kippen, and
grand son of Mrs. ,Emma Kestle,
Exeter.
