It is the intention of the com- mittee to set up a portable in- door golf driving range in the community centre. It is planned that the range will be large enough to accommodate three persons driving simultaneously. Classes will be comprised of probably six persons. The num- ber of classes will depend upon the degree of interest on the part of the public. It is hope that this activity can be fully organized and in operation by the first week of February. The lessons will be supervised by Jim Brohman, who is an air force officer liv- ing in Zurich and stationed at Centralia. Jim is acquainted with quite a few Zurich peo- ple, and looks forward to en- thusiastic response to this worthwhile endeavour by the recreation committee 0 Mr. and Mrs. Bill Knights, Stewart and Jane, of Blenheim, spent the week -end with Mr. and Mrs. Stewart McQuenn, and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Snell. when slippery Kevin McKinnon handed Paul Hesse a pass which he neatly tucked between Car- ter's pads The rest of the peri- od was fought back and forth, Seaforth, however, outshooting Zurich 17 to 8 Zurich had one main break through in the period, a penalty shot given to Paul Corriveau, It was stopped on the short side by Carter, Seaforth soon tied the game at the 1:15 mark of the second period when Henderson scored on passes from Nicholson and Hodgert Their second goal care at the 18 mark, Scott scor- ing from McLean.
