Zurich, were Sunday visitors
with Mr. and Mrs. Elmore
Deters.
Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Miller
spent a few days at Port Dover
with Mr, and Mrs, Siegfried
Miller and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Keller,
Mr. and Mrs. Garnet Willert,
Fred Weiberg, Mr, and Mrs.
Aaron Restemayer and Mr. and
Mrs. Lloyd Rader and Darlene
attended the 35th wedding an-
niversary of Mr. and Mrs. Percy
Willert, of Zurich, Friday, De-
cember 17, at the home of their
son, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Willert.
Mrs. Art Haugh has returned
home after spending several
weeks in St. Joseph's Hospital,
London, where she underwent
surgery. She spent a week at
her daughter's in London prior
to returning home.
Santa Visits Dashwood
Dashwood Men's Club was
host to Santa when he visited
Dashwood on Saturday. Daah-
treated to chocolate milk, bags
of goodies and films..
Fellowship Club
Dashwood Fellowship Club
held a social evening Wednes-
day, December 15. Group
games and contests were en-
joyed, followed by a Christmas
lunch.

At Zurich Show
Hensall Reeve Is
Feted by Council
Jolly old St. Nick paid his
annual visit to Zurich last Sat-
urday afternoon, and was met
by over 500 enthusiastic chil-
dren at the Community Centre.
A number of films were
shown to the children, as well
as a miscellaneous program pre-
sented by the Zurich Major-
ettes. Following the program
chocolate milk, courtesy of the
Hurondale Dairy, was given to
all the children.
When Santa Claus arrived he
distributed packs of candy to
all the children who were pres-
ent. The affair was sponsored
by the Zurich Lions Club.

Members of Hensall council,
clerk and police officer, their
wives and husband, held a din-
ner at the Hotel Hensall on
Wednesday evening in honor of
Reeve Norman H, Jones and
Mrs. Jones.
Reeve Jones is retiring this
year as reeve, having served 15
years in municipal life as reeve
and councillor.
Clerk Earl Campbell made
the presentation of a 400 -day
clock from the village to Mr.
and Mrs. Jones.

a much-needed overhaul. The

Minor Hockey Tilt
Hockey action has been very
light this past week, with the
only game being recorded, a
Pee Wee 'affair between the
Hens a 11 and Zurich teams,
which was won by the former,
