JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!
The Mystery of the Incarnation!
"Blessed she that believeth that there shall be a fulfill-
ment of the things spoken to her from the Lord."
The above are the words of the Virgin Mary's cousin Eliza-
beth. These words confirm that the blessing of God came to
this Jewish maid because she believed in the power and
faithfulness of the Word of God.
The virgin Mary believed that the Scripture was to be
fulfilled and because she believed the Son of God was
born of her,
May we, like her, allow the Holy Scripture to lead us to
Salvation from the day of judgment coming upon the whole
earth.

Zurich Juveniles Open Season With
Tie Game and Victory at Wingham
The Zurich MAA Juveniles locals regained their strength
opened their season last Wed-
nesday night in the Hensall
Arena, and came up with a 4-4
tie against the highly -rated
Clinton Juveniles. Playing in
Wingham on Friday night, they
scored a decisive 10-6 win over
the northern boys.

Lose First Two
Games of Season
The Zurich Bantams got off
to a poor start in their open-
ing game of the season last
Wednesday, as they were
trounced 12-3 by the powerful
Clinton squad. The game was
played in Clinton.
The Clinton crew scored two
goals in the first, and added
five more in both the second
and third periods.
Zurich scored one goal in
each period. The marksmen
were Shane McKinnon, D. Dur-
and and John McKinley.
Only four penalties were
handed out, with three of them
going to Clinton.
Seaforth 6 -Zurich 2
In Seaforth on Saturday
night, the Bantams came out
on the short end of a 6-2 score,
but they played a much better
game than in Clinton. Both
teams scored twice in the first
period, and then S ea f or t h
scored two more in both the
second and third periods.
Shane McKinnon was the big
spark in the Zurich attack,
scoring both goals, while de-
fensively John McKinley was a
stalwart.
Five penalties were handed
out in the game, all to Sea -
forth.
and fought their way to the tie.
Bill Hoffman scored first for
Zurich at the 1:12 mark in the
first period, and then Clinton
banged in three quickies. The
visitors scored another midway
through the second period, be-
fore Bud Desjardine slapped in
a Ken Westlake pass at 13:10.

It was a different situation
in the second period, when Zur-
ich scored four goals to two
for Wingham, which tied the
game. However, in the third
period the Zurich crew regain-
ed their legs and skated to four
quick goals before the midway
mark in the period.
Aggressive Bob Miller was
the big gun for the Zurich crew,
banging in three goals and as-
sisting on another. Barry Bloch
was next in line with two mark-
ers, and Bud Desjardine, Chuck
Becker, Gary Flaxbard, John
Gibbons and Ken Westlake
scored one each.
The game was a bit on the
rugged side, as a total of 24
penalties were handed out, with
14 going to Wingham and 10 to
