Mary Lou Witmer became the
bride of Roger Norman Foley
at a double ring ceremony in
St. Christopher's Chapel, Lon-
don, p e r f o r m e d by Father
Schmidt.
Mr. and Mrs. William Wit-
mer, Zurich, are parents of the
bride and the groom is the son
of Mrs. Ida Foley, Scarborough,
and the late Norman Foley.
The bride wore a street -length
gown of deep lustre satin de-
signed with a fitted bodice,
scoop neckline and elbow -length
sleeves. She wore a shoulder -
length veil accented with a
crown of lily -of -the -valley and
pearls and she carried a bou-
quet of red roses, white mums
and trailing ivy.
Mrs. Donald Hugill, London,
was matron of honour, wearing
a street -length dress fashioned
with a white lace bodice and
bell-shaped skirt of fern green
satin. She carried a bouquet of

beth. These words confirm that the blessing of God came to
this Jewish maid because she believed in the power and
faithfulness of the Word of God.
The virgin Mary believed that the Scripture was to be
fulfilled and because she believed the Son of God was
born of her.
May we, like her, allow the Holy Scripture to lead us to
Salvation from the day of judgment coming upon the whole
earth.

eration, I have decided to be a candidate for that office.
