Harold F. Currie. The bride is the daughter of Mr, and Mrs. James Sangster, Hensall, and the groom is the son of Mrs. Norman Holland, and the late Mr. Holland, of Clinton. Mrs. John Turkheini, of Zur- ich, provided wedding music and accompanied the soloist, Miss Dorothy Parker, London, who sang "The Lord's Prayer" and "Wedding Prayer". Given in marriage by her stepfather, Mr. James Sangster, the bride chose for her wed- ding a floor -length gown of misty nylon, over satin and net with lily -point sleeves. Appli- que accents the shallow scoop neckline and the front •of the controlled skirt which had a large bow at back waist. Her shoulder -length veil was held by a crown of lace, sequins and pearls, and she carried a cas- cade of pink Delight roses and ivy. Matron •of honor, Mrs. Ross (Donna) Corbett, RR 1, Exeter, wore a street -length gown of copen blue organza over taf- feta, styled with a shallow scoop neckline accented at back by a bow and flowing panel. She wore a matching wedding ring headpiece. Bridesmaids, Miss Gail Sang- ster and Miss Marion Schroeder, Hensall, were gowned identi- cally to the matron of honor, and the trio carried cascades of pink carnations. Lloyd Holland, New Ham- burg, was his brother's grooms- man, and Ross Corbett and Brian Turner ushered guests. The wedding reception was held in the church parlors. This was the year Julie An- drews made her motion picture debut in a big hit called Mary Poppins ... or, How I learned to stop Worrying and Love Jack Warner". It helped, of course, that so many beautifully -gowned wom- en were within camera range. The awards presentation of the Western Ontario Drama Festival in Woodstock was tele- vised last Saturday evening' and seen on Channel 13 on Sunday at 2 p.m. It was a fast-moving 30 -minute show with Larry Mc- Intyre doing a fine job as mas- ter of ceremonies. A network of five Ontario radio stations carried the show "live" at 10:30 Saturday evening. Every city represented at the festival car- ried the live show — CKOC Hamilton, CHOK Sarnia, CKKW Kitchener, CFOS Owen Sound and CKOX Woodstock. "Great Movie" will return when hockey finishes. Among the films will be Room at the Top, A Majority of One, Par- rish, Waltz of the Toreadors, Hamlet, and others. The Great War, the biggest television documentary series of its kind ever undertaken any- where in the world, is a major highlight of CBC's summer schedule. Shows to continue through the summer include Patty Duke, Ed Sullivan, Bon- anza, Danger Man, Jack Benny, Perry Mason, Candid Camera, The Defenders, The Hillbillies, and several more. Dr. Finlay's Casebook returns this summer. Repeats of outstanding "Take Thirty" programs will be seen. The decrease applied to both male and female applicants. Mr. Jutras, manager of the Goderich NES, stated that the most significant aspect is the decrease in unemployment de- spite poor weather conditions, and also at a time when the labor force Itself has been ex• pending at unusual rates.
