IN MEMORIAM
Burmeister -In loving memory
of a dear husband and step-
father, Courtney Burmeister,
who passed away two years ago,
June 28th.
Two years have passed since
that sad day,
When the one we loved was
called away;
How we miss him, no one can
tell,
So sad the parting without fare-
well;
A silent thought, a secret tear,
Holds his memory forever dear.
-Always remembered by his
wife, Mabel, and step -children,
John, Ellen, Harold, Ethel and
Reina.

Hurondale W.I.
Enjoys Bus Trip
Thirty-nine members and
friends of Hurondale W.I. took
a bus trip to Owen Sound on
Wednesday, leaving Exeter at 7
a.m. Highlights of the tour in
Owen Sound was a visit to the
rest home of Mrs. Etta Hodgert,
formerly of Exeter, who has a
lovely 20 -room home and well -
kept grounds. She served the
ladies a cup of tea.
The ladies saw the canning
of asparagus at Sm.art's canning
factory. They also make 'pie
fillings. jams and fruits and op-
erate all year.
At the Georgian China, the
process of putting patterns on
china was watched, and many
beautiful dishes tempted the
ladies. The group were given
the facilities of the cafeteria for
their noon lunch, with free
coffee,
The making of Blue Moun-
tain pottery was another pro-
cess which was interesting and
enjoyed by the ladies. Dinner
at the Edgwater Inn climaxed
the day in Owen Sound. Mrs.
Lorne Oke, Mrs. Abner Pass-
more and Mrs. Garnet Hicks
arranged the trip.
