Enjoys Bus Trip Thirty-nine members and friends of Hurondale W.I. took a bus trip to Owen Sound on Wednesday, leaving Exeter at 7 a.m. Highlights of the tour in Owen Sound was a visit to the rest home of Mrs. Etta Hodgert, formerly of Exeter, who has a lovely 20 -room home and well - kept grounds. She served the ladies a cup of tea. The ladies saw the canning of asparagus at Sm.art's canning factory. They also make 'pie fillings. jams and fruits and op- erate all year. At the Georgian China, the process of putting patterns on china was watched, and many beautiful dishes tempted the ladies. The group were given the facilities of the cafeteria for their noon lunch, with free coffee, The making of Blue Moun- tain pottery was another pro- cess which was interesting and enjoyed by the ladies. Dinner at the Edgwater Inn climaxed the day in Owen Sound.
