Easter Theme
Easter was the theme of the
meeting of the Women's Society
of the Evangelical UB Church,
held last Thursday evening.
Mrs. Len Erb opened the
meeting with prayer and an
Easter message. The devotional
period was taken by Mrs. Nancy
Koehler, Mrs. Mary Hoffman,
and Miss Jane Lamont. Easter
readings were given by Mrs. 0.
Greb and Mrs. M. Hoffman.
.A playlet taken from the study
book, "My Brother Is a Strang-
er". explained many of the race
and color problems in churches.
A chorus by the committee
and a duet by Mrs. Harold
Rader and Mrs. A. Amacher
concluded the program.
Delegates were appointed to
attend the missionary conven-
tion in Hamilton in April. At
the close of the meeting a social
half hour was spent.
