STARS FOR CLINTON
Johnnie Masse, star mou-
nd performer for the Zur-
ich Lumberkings ball team
this past season, is doing
double duty, as he is now
hurling the Clinton Juven-
iles towards the Ontario Ju-
venile C title. Last week
in Bowmanville, in the first
game of the best -of -three
finals for the title, Clinton
defeated the home team by
a score of 5.2. Masse went
the route for Clinton, stirk-
ing out 13 batters, giving
up only two hits._ The sec-
ond game in this series will
be played in Clinton this
Saturday afternon at 2:00
p.m., and a win for Clin-
ton would give them the
Ontario championship.
