INDEPENDENT
FRONT SUSPENSION
Front wheels ride over bumps individually
and jolts are"soaked up" by the effective
torsion -bar springs and double-acting
shock absorbers before they reach the truck
body or cab.
BIG REAR COIL
SPRINGS
Designed for full cushioning effect on 1/2 -
and %-ton pickups, panels and chassis -
cabs, these frictionless springs effectively
cushion -out road shocks that normally
would be transmitted to the frame. Wide -
stance mounting improves the resistance
to sway and roll,
DOUBLE CHANNEL
CONTROL ARMS
Thesesturdy members ensure correct align-
ment of the rear axle, and transmit driving
and braking forces, while a lateral stabilizer
effectively handles side thrust. The deep
' coil springs are free to cushion the ride.
