Dr. and Mrs. Fred Hess and
family, of Port Credit, were week-
end
eekend visitors with the former's mo-
ther, Mrs. Mary Hess.
Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Buehler, Car-
ol and Steven, of Waterloo, were
weekend visitors with the Baechler
families of Zurich, and vicinity.
Mrs. Lloyd Hope and Mrs. E. D.
Brown were weekend visitors with
their parents Mr. and Mrs. Tom
Meyers. Their children, Heather
Hope and Teddy Brown returned
home with them after spending a
week's vacation in Zurich.
Reeve Lloyd O'Brien, PUC man-
ager Milfred Schilbe, and counsel-
lor Harold Thiel are attending a
hydro meeting in Toronto this
week, representing the Zurich Hy-
dro -Electric system.
Mr. William Swazey, of Toronto,
was a visitor recently at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Josiah Geiger and
Mr. and Mrs. Blake Horner.
Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Gingerich
and two children, Brian and Gwen-
dolyn, of Stanley Township, were
Sunday guests with Mr. and Mrs.
Sol Baechler and Verda.
Mr. Tom Meyers has been con-
fined to his home for the past two
weeks, owing to illness.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Letts, of
London, were weekend visitors at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan
Kalbfleisch.
Mr. Lewis Gingerich, of Sturgis,
Michigan, was an Easter visitor at
the home of his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Noah Gingerich.
Mr. and Mrs. George Grunau, of
Birmingham, Michigan, were visit-
ors at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Ivan Yungblut over the weekend.

verton, were weekend visitors at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. W.

Miss Jane Howald and Jack Wil-

Obituary
J M. Glenn
John Morley Glenn, 95, passed
away on April 8, in South Huron
Hospital, Exeter. He had been in
poor health for four years, and had
been in the hospital for two mon-
ths.
A life long resident of Usborne
Township, he was married in 1919
to Mabel MeTaggart, who survives,
along with two sons, Gerald, Exe-
ter; Bruce, of Weston, and one
daughter, Margaret, Mrs. Mervyn
Hayter, Varna. A sister, Jane
Maude, of London, and five grand-
children, also survive. A brother,
George, predeceased him in May,
1956.
The funeral Monday was held
from Bonthron funeral home, Hen-
sall, with Rev. Currie Winlaw of-
ficiating. Members of Chiselhurst
United Church choir sang, a favor-
ite hymn, "The Homeland"
