Mrs. Lavina Keller is confined
to her bed with a heart condition.
Annual Meeting
The annual meeting of the Ev-
angelical UB Church Ladies Aid
was held last weekend, with 27
members present.
The Christian Social Relations
Committee was in charge with Mrs.
Gordon Bender, chairlady. Mrs, J.
W. Gillings led in prayer. Mrs.
Wallace Wein gave a reading "Stan-
dards and measures." Miss Bonnie
McCrae favoured with a piano
solo. Mrs. Ward Neeb gave a read-
ing "The New Year". Mrs. Ward
Neeb and Mrs. Gerald Mason sang

held February 17, and World Ser-
vice Day, February 5. Ten dollars
was given to the Masse Relief
Fund. Mrs. Gordon Bender is col-
lecting used postage stamps. A
banquet for the Youth Fellowship
will be held in February.

of the election of officers, as fol-

Miscellaneous Showers
Two showers were held last week
in honour of Miss Shirley Haugh,
bride -elect of this week.
Mrs. Howard Klumpp and Mrs.
Lloyd Beaver were joint hostes-
ses at the former's home, on Fri-
day evening, January 20, Mrs.
Klumpp showed movies of local
weddings.
Mrs. Klumpp read the address
and Mrs. Beaver presented the gifts
