ST. JOSEPH
DRYSDALE
(By Al. Fed Duchartne)
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Hawkins, of
London, spent several days with
Mr. William Ducharme, Jr., of this
highway.
Mr. and Mrs. F. Ducharme spent
a few days in Dashwood, last week
with their son and daughter-in-law.
The infant son of Mr, and Mrs.
Leo P. Ducharme, of Dashwood,
was baptised last Sunday, in St.
Peter's church, of this parish, and
will be known as David Alfred.
Raymond Ducharme, of the Blue -
water south and Mrs. Theresa
Hartman, of Zurich, were sponsors.
Edward Mousseau
An old-time resident in the per-
son of Mr. Edward Mousseau, of
this parish, passed away on Thurs-
day, January 12, in his 86th year,
at La Salle, where he was living
with a nephew. Last fall, due to
feebleness and old age, it was
thought necessary for him to take
up residence with relatives, where
he was well cared for.
Mr. Mousseau was never married
and had been a lifetime resident of
the Drysdale district, on the par-
ental homestead. He is survived
by one brother Frank, of near Hen -
sell, and two sisters, Mrs. Rachel
Dennomme, of Hensall, and Mandy
of Detroit.
Burial took place in St. Peter's
cemet ery, of this parish, on Sun-
day, January 15. Mass was cele-
brated on Monday morning,

Used In Styling of Dominion Hotel
Ultra -modern is the simplest way
of describing the interior of the
renovated Dominion Hotel. Com-
ing in the main entrance, the lobby
of the building has been copletely
remodelled, with the walls being
finished in dark cherry wall board.
The ceiling has ,a light shade of
accoustic tile, and the floors in the
entrance are tiled.
The dining room consists of two
parts, the old and the new. The
older section was remodelled some
years ago, with sylvacord plywood
on the wall and plywood squares
on the ceiling. The new section.
has walls of cherry, and the entire
floor is vinyl inlaid linoleum.
The Alpine Room, named after
Swiss mountains, features a mural
on the west wall, showing scenery
in the Alpine mountains in Switzer-
land. The bar and lower portion
of the walls are finished in walnut
arborite, with a light beige mous-
tic tile on the ceiling. The entire
floor is covered with cinnamon
and beige broadloom. Beautiful dr-
apery covers the south wall of this
room.
At the far east end of the build-
ing is the men's room, attractively
finished with vitro -glaze walls and
a linoleum tile floor. An attractive
duck hunting mural is situated on
the east wall, and for entertain-
ment a television set has been in-
stalled in this room.
