Mrs. John Alexander entertain-
ed ten little girls, for her daugh-
ter, Iris; the occasion being her
eight birthday, on Thursday last.
Games and contests were enjoyed
by the children.
The W, A. of St. Andrews Unit-
ed Church, Kippen, held a success-
ful strawberry and ham supper
last Wednesday. A very good
crowd attended and over $200 was
realized.
Larry Consitt, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Jack Consitt, is spending this
week with his grandparents, Mr.
and Mrs, William Shepherd, at
their cottage at Ipperwash.
Mr. and Mrs, John Pepper and
Marion attended the centennial of
Auburn Presbyterian Church and
also the 34th annual Service at
Ball's Cemetery.
Mr. and Mrs. Alex Murray, of
Waterloo, spent Sunday with Mr.
and Mrs. Norman Dickert.

Gordon Wren.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Keyes, Mr,
and Mrs. Ross Love and Mrs., Grant
Love attended the .funeral of a re-
lative in Brigden on Monday.
Wiliiaxn Arnold, of the London
Road was admitted by ambulance
on Sunday to Scott Memorial Hos-
pital, Seaforth. He developed
pneumonia and was placed in an
oxygen tent.
Mrs. Crystal Anderson, of Mar-
lette, Michigan, passed away last
Friday evening. She is the sister-
in-law of Mrs. Elston Dawson, Mrs.
Arthur Anderson, and Mrs. Wil-
liam Winder. The funeral took
place on Monday in Marlette. Mr.

MR. AND MRS. ORVAL HOWARD ULLERICK — were mar-
ried in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Zurich, on Saturday, July
9, 1960, by Rev. W. P. Fischer. The bride is Helen Marlene, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs, Leonard Wagner, Zurich, and the groom is the
son of Mr. Edward Ullerick, London, and the late Mrs. Ulierick.

to return home on Wednesday
from the Seaforth Hospital, and

Huron Church Camp at Bayfield
for 10 days.

tient in . Clinton Public Hospital.

in Toronto over the week end , vi-
siting their son and daughter-in-

OBITUARY
Dr. W. E. Schefflg
Dr. Wesley E, Schellig, 82, a De-
troit dentist for many years, died,
suddenly June 14 at his retirement
home in Longwood, Florida. Dr.
Sehellig was a native of the Zurich
community.
He is survived by his wife, Kath-
erine; two sons, Dr. W. Douglas
.Schellig, of New Baltimore, and,
Dr. Robert I. Schellig, of Detroit;
four grandchildren; and a sister,
Mrs. George H. Grana, of Bowman-
ville, Ont,
Funeral services were held in,
Detroit on June 18, with burial, in
the Forest Lawn Cemetery there,
