HICK'S FORECAST
A. Regular storm period is cen rant
on the 191h, extending from the 17th
to the 22nd. Disturbing causes and
things to expect. It will grow warm-
er, with south winds and falling bar-
ometer in the west. On and about
the 19th, 20th and 21st, fierce storms
of wind, thunder, rain and hail will
break out in most sections of the coup
try, being in transit from west to east
for two or three days. We forecast
much clashingof boreal and equatorial
forces at this time, giving rise to Many
tornadic developments, enormous
downpours of rain and hail, ail wind-
up with a very high barometer, cold
northerly winds and frosty nights.
A reactionary storm period is cent-
ral on the 24th, 25th, and 26th. This
period is at the last quarter of the
Moon, and under thecootinued dom-
ination of the Venus equinox. With
these exceptions, the causes of storm
disturbances are reduced to a minim-
um at this time.

plimented him and expressed much
regret in losing such an . esteemed

Cross Fertilizer Co.
BASIC SLAC
I am taking orders for the abase
celebrated brand of Fertilizer for
delivery next S1 ring.
I handled this brand last season
and had splendid success with it:
Basic slag has been used with
greatest success on beans, etc
Prices Cash $20.00 F. .0. B.,
Station. $22 on 8 months time.
Mr Thomas Consitt, Hill's Green,
Huron Co. writes on 14th December, •
1914:—"Sydney Basic Slag is good
stuff. I got half -ton in 1913, and
applied it to five acres of Fall Wheat
and had more wheat off the 5 acres
than on 15 acres that had no Fertiliz
er. Last Spring 1914 I tried Slag
alongside a Mixed Fertilizer that cost
me $32. per ton and the Slag gave me
much better results."
