The baseball club held a reorganiz-
ation meeting on • Tuesday evening.
Mr G. R. Hess was chosen as manager
and Mr William Brown as captain for

hand, if the boys conte out to practice,

The well at the fire hall has been
completed. It has been dng to a depth
of and 50 11 bored about twenty feet
deeper. The water has risen. about'
twenty feet and it thought a good
spring has been tapped. The police
trustees are highly elated at the success
in obtaining the quantity of water.
MEMOPfA.L SEEVICES
The Memorial Services -held.. at the
Bronson Line Cemetery last. Sunday
afternoon were well attended: Appro-
priate services were conducted, honor-
ing the departed ones, by the several
ministers 'present for the occasion.

of Crediton, Rev. J. Grensebach, of
Dashwood, and rev, R. Geiger, of

home to Canada from the front are rj-
eligible for pensions from the clay of
their return and steps are being taken
to place them promptly on the list on
the Tines of the recent order-in•coun-
cil. ` The government has also under
consideration arrangements whereby ff
soldiers incapacitated from working al
their former occupations, will be train-
ed at a trade suited to their present
physical capabilities.
