A Goderich resident who had
taken some poisonous concoction
was admitted to the hospital the
past week and made ,a quick re-
eov>ery. Afterwards he was ch-
arged before Magi's. Reid with an
attempt to commit 'suicide by tak-
ing .arsenate of lead. At' first he
entered a plea of guilty, but lat-
er he said he had been drinking
rubbing alehol. The Magistrate
reserved his decision for ,the time
being.
