OBITUARY
We indeed regret that we are
this week called upon to cronicle the
dna+ii of a former resident of Zurich
in the person of Henrietta (Etta)
f —salsa..arseib, ctaugnter of the late
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hartleib, for-
meily of Zurich; whose death took
place in Victoria Hospital, London,
on October 31st. Prior to her depart-
ure Miss Hartleib underwent a maj-
or operation in the Hospital and with
the seriousness of her condition her
family relatives entertained little
hopes for her recovery, while the pat-
ient was very hopeful. The family
were fortunate in scouring the serv-
ices of Mrs. Edward Dundas, a cous-
in, who -gave the best of care to the
departed during her illness. ivlrs.
Dundas was formerly Miss EIizabeth
Hartleib, R.N. of Kitchener, and of
Dashwood. Deceased was raised in
Hartleib family home in Zurich, and
lived here 'till 1919 when the family
moved to Waterloo, and in 1920 her
mother, Mrs. Amelia Schmidt, be-
loved wife of Charles .Hartleib pas-
sed this life. Then three years ago
her father wass called to an untimely
death in Goderich, where the father
and two daughters, Ette and Gert-
rude had resided for some time, the
two latter keeping up the home in
the family residence on Eeast Street,
Goderich. The sisters left to mourn
are: Mrs. Sam. E. Faust, Mitchell;
Mrs. John Cantelon, West Lorne;
Miss Gertrude Hartleib, Goderich;
Mrs.H. N. Becker, Tavistock; and
Mrs. Harry Siemon, London. The
funeral services are being held at
