Nearly five years ago • her health began to fail, and always ilii hopes that she would get strong a- gain, but it was not our Creator's will that it should be thus, and for the last five months Mrs. Rittenhouse most ost of her tirne in bed, :and:. during the last few weeks was called. upon to do much suffering, having had two attacks of strokes, and the end came peacefully on February 4, aged 66 years 8 months and 20 days.. Besides her sorrowing husband she is survived by three brother: Henry, John and Merano Steckle of the Bron- son Line, Stanley township, and also two sisters: Mrs. Henry Bowman and Mrs. Ehnos Gingerich, both living in the Elmira district, also other relati- ves and close friends. Mrs. Ritten- house was beloved by all with whom she came in contact with, being of a a very mild and peaceable disposition The funeral was held on Friday Feb- ruary 6th, with services at the local Mennonite church, and interment in1 the Amish .Mennonite cemetery, Iron an Line, Hay.
