IN MEMORIAM
England—In loving memory of my
husband, John England, who passed
away one year ago, December 5th,
1929.
Oh what would I give to 'clasp his
hand
His dear, kind face to see.
To hear his voice, to see his smile.
That meant so much to me
His spirit has fled, his sufferings o'er'.
God called you home, he thought it
best.
One year has passed, our heart"stilt
sore •
As time goes on I miss him -more.
His Loving Wife, Carrie.

Mr. and Mrs. Alex. Foster motored
to London on Saturday.
Mrs. C. Eilber and Mrs. Gibson
are visiting with friends at Hensall
for a week or sa.
Mrs. Dawes, of Port Huron, who
has been visiting with her friend,
Mrs. P. Koehler, has returned to her
home in that city:
Mrs. Lydia Pfile, and daughter Miss
Pearl were visitors with relatives at
Blyth the past week, returning on
Monday.
Reeve. L. H. Rader is attending
the December meeting of the Huron
County Council at Goderich this we-
ek.
Mr. and Mas. Charles Hagen, brid-
al couple, who spent .their honeymoon
with friends at Dunville and other
points, returned to Zurich on Tues-
day. Their many friends here wish
thein a very happy married life.
Mr. Henry Bossenberry of Port
Franks, accompanied by his son, Mr.
Bruce Bossenberry of Forest, were
in town one day last week. They
were on their way to Bayfield, where
they visited the former's brother,

Mr. and Mrs. C. Fritz and family,
Mr. Wm. Lamont, and daughter; Miss
Jane, were 'royally entertained at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Consitt,
Hensall, on Ffidaj evening. A most
sumptuous 'fowl supper was enjoyed
4.y the party; and needless to say ev-
qrything was plentyful and of the
very best.
A couple of our popular hunters,
namely, Wellington Johnston, Gid.
Koehler, and Herb. Mousseala of town
accompanied by Mr. Ulric Snell:, of
Exeter spent the biggest part of last
week in the Camlache district in an
effort to shoot wild geese, of which
they were successful, as they return-
ed with nine fine birds having fele
victom to their guns.
Sorry to repbat that Mrs. Elmer
Oesch - had the misfortune the other
day to have her hand crushed badly
by letting it run into the wringer of
their electric washing machine. Un-
fortunately no medical aid was avail-
able in town, so with the applications
of first aid, the sufferer was rcievd
somewhat, but it will 'be some time
yet till the hand will resume its for-
mer use again.
The sad intelligence was received
here af' the passing of John Esley,
18 -year-old son of Mr. Allan and the
