world by wireless. Lion's Head on
Georgian Bay, and SableBeach and
Oliphant on Lake Huron are also
very enticing summer resorts, not
quite so active and noisy as the lake
resorts in our own district. The
last camping was done on the Prov-

have, that our own town and home
is the best in the world just for us.
owned and controlled by the city of
Owen Sound, where there are at
times around 100 tents up in a single
night. The trip wad concluded on
an inland homeward journey through
Mt. Forest, Durham, Harriston where
we had the pleasure of calling on Mr.
and Mrs. Sam. Gascho, former • resi-
dents of Zurich, and then home by
way of Listowel, and the further we
came down the line homeward, the
better we liked the country, this is
however an old belief we all should.
Presentation
On August 8th, a number of pee -
gathered at the .home of Mr. and
Mrs. Oscar Klopp in honor of Rev.
and MTS. H. Rembe and family, of
Winnipeg, and who were here on
their vacation, and presented the pas-
tor with a gold cross. The pastor in
turn thanked the friends very ably
for the kind attitude which was
shown to him and family while his
stay in this vicinity. The evening
was enjoyed by various amusements,
also a dainty lunch was served by the
ladies, which was topped off by a dish
of ice cream. The address: '
Zurich, August 3, 1930
Dear Rev. Rembe and Family:
We are all very happy'to
have you with us again! One of cine: --)most highly respected friends; ouir
formes Pastor. It is a great pleas-
ure to all of us here to -night, that
you are able to spend a few minutes
with us, and bring back the memories
of good times in the past, when you
was with us on similar gatherings as
our pastor. This is not a formal party
but we are only trying to convey
through it our feelings and at the
same time give you a cordial welcome
to your old parish. We can see that
you are soaring quite well in your
new charge, hut we hope you will
not forget us, who regretted to see
you leave. But the past is past, and
so we hope your vacation will be both
long and pleasant and that most of
it will be spent here in our midst.
And so Rev. Rembe we wish you to
accept this little gift .and value it
highly, not for its intinsic money val-
ue, but for the spirit in which it was
given and also because it was given
tiro 'snow how much we appreciate
you and your activities among us.
May God shower his richest blessing
on you and your work so that you
-may continue as you have in the
past, being ever faithful, steadfast
and 'kind.
Signed on behalf of your friends.
