The Exeter Conservative organizat- ion, Rivas learned, has obtained word that Hon. R. B. Bennett, Conservat- ive leader,. will be in Exeter in the in- terests of the Conservative Candidate in South Huron. Although the date is not known, it is thought time the party leader will be there about the middle of July. Grand Bend—Bayfield Road May be Paved. Recent report are that the stretch of load along Lake Huron between Grand Bend and Bayfield, was soon to be paved. This will probably be another Province -County venture, such as has been announced in Mid- dlesex county roads. In the latter case, Hon. Henry, stated the province would pave the road and then give the county a year to pay its share of the cont, namely, one-half.. The Grand Bend—Bayfield road is a Hur- on County raod at present. "Welkom Inn" the spacious home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bedard on the Blue Water Highway, was the scene of a happy gathering on Sun- day, June 29th when their sons and daughters and grandchildren were home in.honor of their sister, (Sr. Mary Eugenia), who is a nun of the Urs i ub ne.Or Order, , and who recently completed a course of studies at Ot- tawa University, from which she graduated with high honors, rhe VAS pleasantly spent in rem n scing',1 as the Bedard family of which are scattered in various sections or West- ern Qntario, and - it is only on rare occasions they have the opportunity of meeting at the old !rouse.
