Beautifying School Grounds A praiseworthy movement has Been started in Lincoln County where a large number of rural schools are applying to the district agricultural office for planting plans, whereby the school grounds may be beautifullied. Rough sketches are made by teachers and these are forwarded to the Hort- icultural Dept., at 0.A.C., where blu prints will be prepared, giving the exact planting arrangement for trees windbreaks, shrubs and flowers. The trees are ordered from the Forestry Branch at Toronto and are supplied free, the school sections paying only the express from the Government St- ation at SE Williams. This enterprise should effect a treh.endous improve- ment in school grounds and deserves to be emulated in other counties.
