son resided and a daughter" was tea-

Lordly Living, Loving, Serving
It is love that makes the world go
round. "If you' live to love, then
you'll love to live. For the two are
intertwined. If you love mankind
with all your heart, then the world
loves back you'll find." As you take
to the air and rise out of the narrow
human relations, the fences that dil
vide the world into farms and fields
and heathers, fade out, until you see'
only one beautiful landscape of field,
forest, garden and meadow with wind
ing streams, and .placid lake and
God's blue and
arching it; so if
it is as we rise higher in truly relig-
ious life and live nearer to God that
the fences of aloofness and sectarian-
ism that divide the church grow smal-
ler and smaller until they will finally
vanish away altogether when we
come to realize how useless some
trivet details are that wedge us apart
and how much richer life is whoa we
see that we are all one Lord Jesus
children. It is with people, as it is
with trees in a grove the higher they
grow, the nearer they get together.
The branches as it were reach out
and clasp hands.
