The new Durant car of Mr. Henderson' was al- most completely demolished, and both occupants were seriously hurt. Mr: Henderson tieing badly cut about the face and head: and wa.- taken to the Seaforth l espital, while Mrs. Hender son wa:, taken to the office of Dr. W. C. Sproat, where She was given :medical attention. The other car was. also badly wrecked. Zurich Public and Continuation • School Picnic. On Wednefelay, June 12th, the Zur ich Public and Continuation School held its annual picnic at Grand Bend. Although the weather was rather cool, a large crowd of children and grown-ups were present. The races were successfully run off under the able supervision of Mr.. C. Fritz. The single men were trounced in a close game by the married men.The ladies put on a Spectacular ball game Reports as to the score were cancer- tai,n.
