London Fair.
Mrs. S. Rennie and daughter Miss
Elizabeth, who have spent the past
five weeks, at their summer home at
Grand Bend, have returned to their
home in the village.
A great number of the villagers
are attending the London Fair this
Wednesday, and it should be a rec-
ord day for this fair on Wednesday,
as the heavy rains on Tuesday night
brought about a holiday for the far-
mers on Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Heist, Mr. and
Mrs. Fred Gaiser of Crediton; Mr.
and Mrs. Albert Gaiser, and family

visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs.

family of the Blue Water Highway.

the Blue Water Highway, at the
gate of Mr. John Laporte, when Mr.
Laporte was returning home, and in
making the turn at his gate he was
hit from the side by a large Stude-
baker car which completely knocked
the lighter Essex car that Mr. La-
porte was driving, off the road into
a very battered up condition, whine
th;. i rg,.e car also suffered injuries.
Luckily no one was seriously hurt,
betides a severe shaking up.
