Money Is• Explained
Everyone in this district who
has been 'having_.trouble recovering
from the financial strain of the re-
cent holiday season will welcome
the announeement on Page [Four of
this ussee of an Airplane Treas-
ure Taunt ,which is being staged
by The London Free Press. The
Treasure Hunt takes the form of
a Puzzle Contest ,which is desi-
gned to Tiromete reader interest
and good will on behalf of The
London :Free Press and the, oppor-
tunity for genuine and substantial
profits to those who take part
cannot be denied. This unique
form of competition is said to
have very definite educational fe-
atures which make participitation
a profitable natter even apart
from the prize money angle. It
has been endorsed by ministers and
educators in several large cities.
Since the announcement clearly
-states that all members of any
family may co-operate in working
out a solution, it 15 not rash to
venture that on some of these cold
and, hlirstry nights a good many
home fires throughout the province
will be lighting the way to -cub-
stantial cash rewards, as their
households concentrate on the Tr-
easure Hunt.. The first prize,
according to the announcement will
be $1,500, with 24 other desirable
awards, totalling in all $3,000. So
if Christmas left you in a chole, our
friendly. tip is that the Treasure
Hunt 'suggests an easy and effect
ive means of pulling yourself out.

We must again come to our
readers acid say a word in regards
to the Linotype type butting
machine we made mention of last
week, and we are somewhat corn-
plexed just what to say, but wet
do know that we are not getting
this machine, and we cannot say
just why, but the party at Tor-
onto has since sold it to some one
else, and we must pull ourselves
together with our former \old
machine and make the hest Qof it
till such time arrives that some-
thing suitable will turn up. We.
can buy a new 'machine from the
furors, but just where or how a
two thousand dollar machine
would pay in our little 'dant, ;i,
rather hard for your Publisher to
see, However; in the m,eantirnewe
will do our utmost to give our
readers the best print that we
can possibly give, and we know
