He is now lying, at Mr. Green's, under Dr. Buohanan's care. Dietrich was at one time a resident of Zurich and his many friends here hope ho will soon re- cover. Editorof The Herald. Dear Sir Referring to an item in your valuable paper of a few weeks ago, regarding the cow nuisance, I am not in favour of letting our cows roam the streets, but there are other nuisances more disgraceful, committed and right on our main street, viz --A number of boys, or even some of our young men, as they call themselves, molesting, insulting and sneering at young and respectable ladies, going about their business and doing their shop ping. This was noticed on Satur- day evening last. This practice has gone about far enough. These boys, (or so called young men) roost on street corners, and even on the counters of some of oar stores, insulting shoppers. Now w ouldn't it be, wiser to let the cows roans at large, than to allow the calves out on the street corners? What are our peace -makers doing, and where are keeping themselves? r laying .r Probably in low in some tie- n ,. se - eluded d t otnc.t, after our faithful xniIk-produeing cow, rather than look anter the impudent calves of our town. Thanking; you, Mr. Editor for your valuable space, I ttnn, yours.
