The 12th. of July will be held at Stratford this year. POSTMASTER'S ASSOCIATION A meeting of the Huron District Postmaster's Association was held in the Town Hall. Wingham on Tuesday the Ist inst, W. A,Irwin of Gorrie. Vice- President in the chair. A lively discussion, intro- duced by Thos, Farrow, Brussels, upon the question whether or not to have two organizations in the District, North and South. It was deoided to defer action until the next meeting. A thorough canvas of Postmasters in the District for new members and renewals was decided upon, Committees were appointed for this purpose with instructions to complete the can- vas before the next Convention for the Province. The action of the Provincial executive, respecting the establishment of an organ in the interests of Postmasters and the Association throughout the Dominion, was endorsed The officers of last year were continued in office until next meeting. The iactive co-operation of all members was asked in enlisting the sympathy and support of the Press, Members of Parliament and Senators for the Association and its aims. The next meeting is to be held in Clinton on the 14th of June. A few minutes delay in treating some crises of croup, even the length of timet it takes to go for a doctor often proves dangerous.
