Anniversary Services will be held in
Brick United Church, on Sunday,
Oct. 18, at 1t a. in. and 7 p. in, Rev.
Mr, Alp of Auburn taking the servic-
es and the choir of Belgrave United
Church supplying the music for the
day.
On Monday evening a grand concert
will be held in the church at 8 p. m.
when the follow;ing will assist in the
program. Rev. Mr. Walden of Blue -
vale and Rev. Mr. Cumming of St.
Helens will give short addresses, A
mixed quartette from Belgrave, Miss
Hoover tof Brussels and Miss -Irene
Moore of Whit'echurch will supply vo-
cal music, while Miss M. Hoover of
Brussels and Mrs. J, Pattison of
Wingham :will give readings. The
Children's Orchestra from. S. S. No. 7
also Miss Mildred and Mr. Jack Per-
due, will supply, instrumental . music
and violin solos. Everybody wel-
come.

grave, were guests of Mr. and Mrs.
Andrew Stein of Paramount during
the week,
Miss Agnes Cranston, Mafeking,
spent the week -end with her friend,

Anniversary Services and Fowl Sup-
per of Zion, which was held 'on. Oct.
4th and 5th., was a real success in
spite of the disagreeable weather.

Miss Tena Murray, Simcoe, Dakota,
whose funeral services was held from
the home of her brother, D. B. of Wa-

About forty of the women of the
United Church here, met last Thurs-
day at the home of Mrs. Gibson Gill-
espie and spent the afternoon in quilt-
ing quilts, making dresses and other
clothing for the Christmas Charity
work and social chat, after which a
bounteous lunFh was partaken of by
all, The regular meeting of the W,
M. S. will be held this Thursday in
the Church, when Mrs, Bennett and
Mrs. Macintosh of Wingham, will be
present and assist in the prograin,
