BELMORE
Daddy thinks:its nonsense the house
in such a. rye,
He says lie's gone for days and day
without ,a piece of plc.
But daddy»must remember how away
back in .the shack;
How those darling little brown bugs
ran» up a fellows back;
For Granddad rose at 4 o'clock to do
the chores he•said,
But never once let on 'SO us 'there was
no peace in bed,
Municipal clerks have in these days
a great deal of work to do,» and any
man who does it all and does it well
is not likely to, be: getting a bit too
much in the way of a salary.—Ren-
frew Mercury.
