to make production even greater.
Our' present financial system and
credit system, he also ., said, were all
wrong., and were bringing destruct-
ion to the present system.
The Co -Operative Commonwealth
Federation had a remedy and put
forth the following ideas:
1, Cancellation of International
Debt and reduction of personal debt
to the point where they were con-
tracted and then stabilized.
`2. Nationalization of credit systems
and discontinuing of the present gold
standard which he characterized as
stupid.
3. Nationalization of every indus-
try that becomes a monopoly.
4. Begin the planning of our Nat-

at present.
Miss Agnes McPhail was introduc-

figure, having in the last 12 years
risen from a country school teacher
to a. person in great demand all over
the country as a speaker and teacher
of national and international affairs.
Miss McPhail took exception to
the report of'a speech she made,
where it vas reported she advised
the farmers "Not to pay their taxes
She stated that when she and Mr.
