OF UNITED CHURCH, MEETS Th,e Women's Association of the United Church held a very success- ful meeting at the home of Mrs, 11., Sperling on Thursday. afternoon with the President, Mrs. W. G. Strong, in the chair, and quilting was the or- der of the day. During the business period a lengthy discussion arose as to the discontinuing of the regular monthly fees, but it was left unde- cided until a future meeting. The ladies voted the Stewards of the church a considerable sum of mon- •ey. The meeting closed with the hymn "Blest be the Tie that Binds,". and prayer by the President.
