Miss Melda Lane, of Stratford
Normal, spent the week -end at her

Mr. and Mrs. George Lane motor-
ed to Stratford on Thursday after-
noon.
We regret the sudden passing of
the late Mrs. Will Finlay, 9th con.
Ashfield, on Thursday morning, in
Wingham Hospital. Mrs, Finlay un-
derwent an operation on Friday,
May 27th, and the second operation
on Thursday she passed away. She
leaves to mourn her, her husband
and one daughter, Margaret. The
funeral was very largely attended on
Saturday afternoon to Greenhill
cemetery. Rev. Mr, . Taverner offic-
iated at both services. We extend
our sincere sympathy to the bereav-
ed.
