Monday night, a Memorial Service
was held, when a beautiful memorial,
which took the form of a maple leaf,
was unveiled. The Honor Roll, is the
work of Mr. R. Y. Carrick and the
names were printed on, in gold let-
tering by Miss Anna May Carrick,
who also at this meeting was present-
ed with a letter of appreciation for
her work and her untiring interest in
the Honor Roll, which is a real work
of art. The topic, On Armistice Day;
was in charge of Mrs. C. Gillespie,
and Messrs. Garnet Farrier and J. D.
Beecroft rendered a duet '"Remem-
bered Yet." This congregation are
■ holding their fowl supper on \Ned-
® nesday, when Lucknow talent will

for a few days.
Mrs. Wni;, Simms died early Thurs-
day morning in the Wingham Htsspi-
tat. Deceased was suffering Froin par-
alaysis for, some iztonths. She was ta-
ken to the .Wingham Hospital for
medical treatment. She gradually be-
came weaker. Deceased was twice
married. :TTwo sons, Vert of tovwn,
and John,' of Waterdowwn, survive.
Several years after the death of her
