GREAT SUCCESS
The play "Here Conies Charlie"
presented in Wroxeter on Friday by
Palmerston talent, was quite a suc-
cess, and.a real treat was enjoyed by
a large audience. The play being hu-
morous throughout, kept the crowd
laughing all evening, the character of
"Charlie" "Uncle Alex. Twiggs" and
"Ted" as well as "Nora Malone" the
maid, and her friend the Irish cop
"Mr. McGrill", were especially amus-
ing, while those of "Mrs. Farnham"
"Mrs. Smythe -Kersey", her daughter,
"Vivian" and her son "Mortimer"
were very aristocratic, and the favor
of the audience was won by
"Papa Lary," who, after overcoming
theanany difficulties presented by the
care of his ward Charlie, was finally
rewarded by winning her love, and
becoming the successful suitor; after.
having put to rout several other per-
