his Practice in Hensall to Dr. Shurk,

The change to take place Sept 15th.

An Induction Service will be
held in Carmel Presbyterian Church
on Friday evening, Sept. 7th, when
Rev. Ferguson of Wiarton, will be
inducted as minister of the congre-
gation.

daughter of Mrs. Catharine M. Red-
den, of Hensall, became the bride of
Pte. Harvey Alexander Shorthouse,
of Peterboro, son of Mr. and Mrs.
James Harry Shorthouse, St. Cath-
urines. The church was lovely with
a background of Gladioli in tall
Standards. Rev. Janes Willis per-
formed the ceremony The charm-

in receiving by the groom's mother
wearing soft blue dress with black
accessories, both wearing corsages of
rosebuds. For the wedding trip to
Northern Ontario the bride wore a
pale blue summer suit with white
accessories and corsage of gardenias.

stock last week owing to the sadden
death of Mr. Davidson, Sart-in-law of
