The branches are being asked to help replace this stock as soon as pos- sible, We are making a special appeal to the knitters to do their very best. ST. COLUMBAN The May meeting of the St. Co- lumban sub -division of the C.W.L. was held in the chapel with Mrs. Joseph; Feeney in charge. It was de- cided to send donations to the Byron Chapel Fund and to the Hos- pital Fund. Two boxes of fruit were sent to sick members. The League fees are now doe. Cigarettes are to be sent to the boys overseas. Plans were made for a social evening to be held soon. An interesting feature of the meeting was the presentation of a gift of a linen tablecloth to the retiring president, Mrs. V. Lane The address was read by Mrs. T Morris, and the presentation made by Mrs. J. Melady, Mrs. Lane thanked the ladies for their kindness and co-operation during the past year. The meeting then closed with prayer for our armed forces.
