W.M.S. Hold Christmas Meeting
The W.M.S. of St, Andrew's Unit-
ed Church' here met on Wednesday
afternoon at the hoine of Mrs. Carl.
MoClinchey with twenty one mem-
bers and a number of visitors pre-
sent. The president, Mrs. Ernie
Chipchase, presided and opened the
meeting by repeating the "call to
worship" while Mrs. Harold Jones
softly played "Oh Little Town -of
Bethlehem" The scripture was read
by Mrs. Chipohase. Misses Joyce
Broadfoot and Bernice McClincheY
favoured with a duet "Silent Night"
accompanied by Mrs. Ross Broad -
foot, The minutes were read and
the roll call taken with the text word
being (`Love". The secretary, Mrs.
John Henderson read a letter from
Mrs. Ernie Chipchase giving her re-
signation as president; of the society,
which office she has held for a num-
ber of years, Mics. Ilinton gave a rd.
