Couple Honored
A very enjoyable evening was
spent at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Harold Penhale, on the Bronson
Line, on Wednesday evening of last
week, when 72 neighbors and
friends gathered in honour of Mr.
and Mrs. Howard McCullough. The
evening was pent rn playing pro-
gressive euchre and crokinole. Mr.
and Mrs. McCullough were present-
ed with an address which was read
by Miss Carol Campbell. Mr. Russell
'Grainger and "Mr. Bert Dunn Jr.,
presented, the gifts which were love-
ly and useful. Howard expressed ap-
preciation and thanks on behalf of
his bride and himself. The bride
opened the many beautiful gifts
after which a dainty lunch was
served. A piece of wedding cake was
presented to each guest by the bride
and groom.

from the West last Saturday after
spending a few pleasant months with
relatives and friends there.
Jackie Dallas, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Russell Dallas, was taken to Sea -
forth hospital last week. He was
operated on. on Sunday, we hope he
will soon be able to return home.
Last Friday, while shovelling
snow, Mr. Henry Dayman suffered a
heart attack, he is now much im-
proved.

ken up residence in one of Mr. R.
Scott's apartments.
