THURSDAY, JANUARY 2, 1947
To The Electors of Seaforth
During the past eleven years it has been my pleasure to
serve you as Councillor and Reeve. In that period I have
supported only sound business principles for the protection
of our citizens, was intimately connected with the securing
of the Hesky Flax Industry and re-establishment of J.
Boshart & Sons following their disastrous fire late last year.
In allowing my name to go before you as a candidate for
the office of Mayor, I promise to continue for the people of
Seaforth the same sound and economic principles which
have placed Seaforth in such a strong financial position.
I trust that every citizen will use their franchise on January
6th for the furtherance of the interests of your town of
which you should be justly proud.
Wishing eachand everyone a Prosperous New Year.

WHY NOT
COME OUT TO VOTE
Do you realize the running of your town affairs is one of
the largest and most important Businesses you have in
Seaforth, yet many are not interested enough to go out on
Election day and vote for the candidates who they feel are
tapable of running this Business.
VOTE AS YOU LIKE BUT
VOTE
Being more or Iess a new scorner to your town of Seaforth,
I consider it an honor to be asked to stand for election to
your 1947 Council, and after giving it considerable thought,
I have decided that if I can in any way be of assistance to
the town of Seaforth and its citizens I will be only too glad
to do sO.
