meeting on Thursday, in the school-
room of the 'Church which was
beautifully decorated with mums
for the occasion.

A pretty autumn wedding took
place at the restory of St. Patrick's
Roman Catholic Church, Dublin,
Saturday morning at 10:00 o'clock
when .Loreen, youngest daughter of
Mr. Frank Harburn, Staffa, and the
late Mrs. Harburn, was united in
marriage to Mr. Harry Burns, se-
cond son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel
Burns, also of Staffa.
VARNA
The November - meeting of the
United Church W.M.S. was held at
the home of Mrs. Fred Reid. Mrs.
Lee McConnell presided. The meet-
ing was opened with quiet music by
Rachel Johnston. The opening exer-
cises were followed from the Month-
ly. We sang "For the beauty of the
earth." The Lord's ,prayer and 23rd
psalm were repeated in unison.
Doris Reid and Rachel Johnston sang
a duet,. Thirteen members answered
roll call with word peace. Text word
for Dec. to be "Joy". Mrs. Sherlock
Keys and Mr's. Anson Coleman each
gave splendid reports of Pres. at
Walton. The study book was taken
by Mrs. Fred Reid, Rachel John-
ston, Mrs. Lee McConnell and Mrs.
J. W. Johnston. Miss Hern offered
prayer for the missionaries and their
families in India and those on fur-
lough. We closed by singing "Father
of Peace and benediction by presi-

iag of milk including whole milk and such products of milk as are
supplied, processed, distributed or sold in any form; the costs,
prices, price -spreads, trade practices, methods of financing, manage-
ment, grading, policies and any other matter relatingto any of
them but not as to restrict the generality of the foregoing, the
effect thereon of any subsidies or taxes paid or imposed.
the scheme contemplated by the provisions of The Milk Control
Act, R.S,Q, 1937, Chapter 76 as amended, and the administration
thereof by the Milk Control Board.
To facilitate the work of the Commission it is requested that
written submissions by interested -persons be submitted to the
undersigned NOT LATER THAN 21st NOV. 1946. Sub-
mission may be in the form of briefs, but in any event shall
be furnished in ten copies.
Details of the times and places of' public hearings will be
announced in the press at an early date.
