A carload of five people from
Moosejaw, Sask., camped 'on Tuesday
night at IStewart's camp on the north

cided for Aug. 31st, so keep this af-
ternoon and everting free front all

agreed that we hold a membership

following Sunday evening. The cap-
tain of each side will then give us
their reports and of course each one
is out to win.

cessful in passing the pianoforte exa-
mination of the Toronto Conserva-
tory of Music. The examination was
held at 'Seaforth on July Sth, Junior

this week front London where she has
been spending the last month taking
lessons on the pipe organ from Pro-
fessor "Anderton.

August 3rd when Lillian Knox, grand-
daughter of Mrs, Wilson, was united
in marriage to ,George, W. Durant,
sort of Mr. and 'Mrs. John Durant,
Medford, 'The ceremony was perform-
ed by the pastor, '.Rev. W. A. Brem-
ner under an evergreen arch entwined
with white and pink roses. The house
was tastefully decorated with sweet
peas, s'hasta daisies and delphiniums.
The bride, entering the sitting room-
to the -strains of the iLohengrin wed-
ding march which was played by Miss
Greeta Broadfoot, was given away by
her brother, Mr. Stuart 'Knox, .and
looked charming fn •a gown of geor-
gette of poudre blue shade, ,silver slip-
pers and hose, Hes bouquet was
sweet peas and gypsophelia. I•umnme-
diately after the ceremony a sumptu-
ous wedding dinner was served in the
dining room which was decorated in
pink and white. The bride ,donned
for travelling a navy blue georgette
dress with coat and hat to match. The,

Mr. Wright is chief of a fire 'sta-
tion in New York, and reports that a
!fireman's life is a 'busy one in the
city, his station having an average rof
eight or ten calls a day.
