One of our oldest and most highly
respected residents in the .person of
Fredrika Dunlop (more familiarlyrly
known by all as Rickey) passed away
to her heavenly home on Friday last,
May 21st, at the home of Mrs. John
1 stns, where she has been living for
the past few years. Deceased was
horn in Saxwimere, Germany, and
has lived here since childhood. She
was twice married: her second hus-
band predeceased her some eighteen
years ago. The only remaining mem-
ber 0,f the family is 'Chrystal Dresler,
of the village. Rickey was beloved
by all and was for many years a de-
voted member of St. Andrew's Pres-
byterian Church, faithful in attend-
ance at services as long as it was
possible for her to go, and when her
sight failed, kind friends accompanied
her to church She was generous in
her 'vin s to helpchurch and mis-
sionary
sionaty work was cheerful even in
'ser illness and appreciated the kind-
ness of her 'friends. She had been
`Hind for the past three years or so
nd had reached the age of eighty-
hree years. The funeral was held
^on the home of Mrs, John Toni on
Monday afternoon and was largely
'tended, an impressive service being
'onducted by Rev. H. F. Kennedy,
'astoriof tine United Church. The pall
'carers were Jatnes IH. Reid, George

• Castle, E. F. Mertser and M. Ross.
The casket was covered with beaarti-
' flowers.
