A fine type of man died March 4th
in the person of George Grigg,' Pot
some time he has been in failing health
but the end came suddenly.
The deceased was born in l.'ng!and in
1842, where in 1866 he was married to
Miss Grace Smith and in 187f they
moved to Canada, coming to Staffs
where they lived for seven years, when
they moved to a farm in MoKillop near
Walton, Here the deceased continued
to farm until he retired, spending the
rest of his days at Walton and Seaforth
Ten children , besides the aged
partner, now bereaved, remain. The
children are ; Mrs Barrows, Milk Riv-
er, Alta,; Mrs Crawford, .Talmadge Seek
Mrs. Hudson and Mrs. Constable,
Moosejaw, Sask.; Mrs. Dennison, Sea -
forth; Harold John, Joseph, William
and Gilbert of Moosejaw, Seek,
The late Mr Grigg was well known in',
McKillop and Seaforth as a good
neighbor, an upright man whose ex.
ample was an inspiration, He wasd
devout member of the Methodist
church and in politics a broadminded
Conservative. The funeral which was
private was held at Brussels.
