The opponents of the Canada
Temperance Act are trying to
make out that it has failed to pre-
vent the giving of liquor to min-
ors. This contention is unfounded.
The Canada Temperance Act de-
finitely forbids a public carrier
delivering an order of liquor to a
minor. Moreover the failure that is
scandalous is the failure of the
Ontario Liquor Act to keep minors
out of beverage rooms. The Hur-
on Temperance Federation is sure
that there is less temptation and
danger for minors under the Can-
ada Temperance Act than under
the Ontario Liquor Act. —Advt.
