Simpson, B.A:, B.D. of Atwood. In his morning sermon he stressed the importance of improving our own lives, emphasizing how anxious we are in improving the material things. In the evening his subject was taken from the Sermon on the Mount, and how acquiring wealth seemed the uppermost ambition of today. His comparison of our lives today with the sermon rendered by Christ gave some idea how far the world has drifted in selfishness and lack of thought for our fellowman. The Church was artistically decor- ated with cut flowers. A very great deal of credit is due the choir under its leader and organist, Mrs. 0. An- derson. The anthems at both services were exceptionally well'rendered and .greatly appreciated.
