trict farmer, died Sunday at his
home in Hay Township. He was a
member of Hensall United Church.
Surviving are his wife, his norther,

Hensall Resident Wins $5,800
C.N.E. Cottage
A lucky ticket in a draw at the
Canadian National Exhibition has
provided Hensall Chamber of Com-
merce with a meeting place.
A firm which builds prefrabricated
houses raffled a $5,800 summer com-
munity cottage, .22' x 24', stipulating
the ticket buyers must be members
of community organizations and the
cottage must be put to use by a
charitable or service organization in
the winner's home town.
Jack Drysdale. a member - of the
Chamber of Commerce, was the win-
ner, and has donated the cottage to
the Chamber of Commerce for head-
quarters. Charitable organizations in
Hensall will also have use of the
building.
Jack was married in May to Miss
Helen Woodimiss, Chatham, gradu-
ate of Victoria Nursing School, Lon-
don, and in June won a complete set
of livingroom furnishings in a draw
staged by Exeter Lions' Club.

at the former's home recently for
